While I myself don't suffer psychotic episodes, I get intrusive thoughts which can also be quite scary.
It's your own internal monologue nagging and whispering into your ears with ugly and scary ideas but slowly convincing you it would be fun or exciting. I've been winning this battle in recent years. If those voices had a face this is what I think It would look like
