I usually sleep pretty well, but a lot of times I'll wake up at around 3 am and be up for several hours. In a weird way I don't mind it, as I can usually be pretty productive during that time. This digital painting was done during that time. There is a strange sense of quiet, peace and focus that happens in the middle of the night while everyone else is asleep. My brain seems more focused and locked in.
I always manage to go back to sleep. But in those hours while I'm awake, this is what the inside of my mind feels like, thinking of things I need to do, the things coming for the day and the next week and whatever new art idea attacks my head at a given time.
