Unleashed Canvas Print

As I was working on this, I was worried I completed it too quickly. I have artist friends who spend hours or even months on one painting. I had this done in a short time. But upon reflection it wasn't a short time. I've been teaching myself art for 3 or 4 years now. All that time and practice have gone into this piece. 

Also after looking at some of my other work, I find my most raw and intense pieces took me less time to do. I think my quick work is my most unfiltered and honest. When I over think it and add tiny details I'm either thinking too much or just anxious trying to keep my hands busy. 

Either way, this piece was done on a Friday morning around five in the morning when I couldn't fall back to sleep. I also have chosen lately to put my art on canvas prints instead of t-shirts and posters. This particular series or style I feel deserves to be on cnvas. 

My goal has always been to make my art accessible. I don't want to sell for thousands of dollars. I want everyone to have access. I feel art is for everyone. It doesn't mean I don't value my worth, it means art has healed me and I want it to heal others. I have yet to sell a canvas, but I feel the right people are out there.
