Devil Inside

Devil Inside

Having bipolar disorder is probably what some people thought years ago was being demon possessedz at least it feels like it.

When not Medicated or at least managing it in some way it feels like you are a passenger in your own body.

You go through life doing bizarre and crazy things the thing that inside you thinks is fun and exciting and it may be for two seconds.

Then that thing goes to sleep you take back over and are left with the shame and guilt of whatever damage you caused. In my case I had no idea what was wrong with me.

I'd turned to organized religion and even alcohol, sometimes both. But the results were always the same.

Therapy, meditation and witchcraft have helped along with my medication which ebbs and flows. It's a lot of work and daily focus.

But we can control our devil Inside and it doesn't have to control us or define us. I know mental health treatment in the US is awful so none of this is easy but all of you are worth the effort.
